Measure Map

measure.pngAt Chris' Web2.1, I had the pleasure of listening to Dan Saffer make a presentation on Measure Map, analytics by AdaptivePath, and I was curious about it. So, naturally, I enlisted in the alpha and now I am getting a very pleasing interface to my statistics: who, where from, which links and visitors.
Useful to me: what are the most popular posts, which clearly goes to show that my blog has catchy titles, but also suffers from a lack of focus, meddling about many subjects and thus diluting my reader base. I need to get to only one idea.
Agh. Specialization is for insects.
But this whole map is certainly nicer than the common statistics I get through other places. Since I am reluctant to get onto the google bandwagon, I haven't compared to that, but probably I will do so soon.
Meanwhile, I am waiting to see what happens to counter services, and the response that the service has in front of spam.
So, let's get on with the HCI.
