Veins and vanities

Went to my physical, and the nurse tells me that the veins in my arm look jim dandy.
Mmm thanks? Odd compliment aside.

Meanwhile, back at headquarters, nobody didn't called me. As U2 would say, Is it getting better
Or do you feel the same?

The thinner I am, physically and emotionally, the "better" my veins and my teeth are...to the point that both a phlembotomist and my dentist have raved that they would like to use me as student and that I could bankrupt them respectively.

Jim Dandy veins are a facade. "Good" health really comes somewhere between epidermal and coronary health. Somewhere it is hard for the medical profession to chart.
