Keep up
Dave Weinberger is not keeping up with my blog. Or anybody's, for that matter.
And that is part of the complexity inherent to this medium: first, we have this incredible narrow choice, couple hundred people all very similar blogging about their sandwiches and whatever is it that they enjoyed.
Then, our favorite company goes corporate, and then the other, and finally we get AOL and MSFT providing space. A Precambrian explosion of blogs.
And now, we are finding that these blogs are not only fighting for content, but for attention: how are we going to keep up with our Dunbar-approved 200 friends, plus all the other interesting blogs?
There is change afoot.

I'm reading them. I'm just not keeping up. I'm just suggesting that we change our social norms so that we don't expect anyone to have read what we just wrote.
I sure do agree that there's a change afoot. Even at hand :)
