Spanish speaking people that blog in English are important! José Luis Orihuela has put together (with help from VR) an aggregated blog of those that think in Spanish but blog in English. They also have an RSS feed.
This experiment of blogging on a non-native language is amazing. Not only because I get to use fantastic words that went out of use in Elizabethan times, yet their cognates remain alive in Spanish, but also because the ideas get to travel across a much more complicated landscape, that of perceptions.

M values and ideas flow absolutely different from those that animate the usual English speaking individual. Blame it on religion, politics or environment, my world has many more corners, is more formal, and goes in another direction. Its spin throws ships out of the edges of the world, and its priests are either shamans with a direct channel to the spirits, or angry crazy priests that kill people while pursuing a social ideology. My language has strict rules, forms, stances and appropriateness, and thus my mind dances in that way.

Writing in English, though, is like skydiving: you get free of everything, and the ideas have to start anew, the visions move themselves through another set of rules, and the imagery proceeds in a haphazard way. I write and think of Nabokov, writing about his butterflies, and of Borges, perpetually exiled. I write in English, and I might as well be floating in clouds, diving through ideas that flock around me.
In English, nothing and everything make sense.
