Deadman blog

Francesco sends me this little amusing piece of info about a man that was dead for two years before his corpse was discovered. Basically, all his bills were paid, so nobody cared about whether he was OK or not. No family, busy neighbors, no friends.

I can think of a deadman switch on the blog, one post that, if not disabled on time, will publish one big gigantic blinking entry saying, for example, "I am dead! Did you go to my funeral? Did you get some at the afterparty?"

That ought to make everybody happy. At least my heirs.

UPDATE: Well, there is actually some software that does it: Dead Man Switch, open source of course.
