The autumn of the patriarch
Presidents gone wild:
West Wing staffers call Bush and Ashcroft the Blues Brothers, because they are on a mission from God.
Which would be fun but for this last part:
“The mood here is that we’re under siege, there’s no doubt about it,” says one troubled aide who admits he is looking for work elsewhere. “In this administration, you don’t have to wear a turban or speak Farsi to be an enemy of the United States. All you have to do is disagree with the President.”

Ahhh Camilo love, stopping talking about God and politics together in the same post. It scares me and G.W. is doing a good enough job at that.
Don't you love it, that we don't go on "high alert" for this Reagan funeral? Is that* a safe situation?
So many people I know are going to the Rep. Convention in NYC to protest. Am I a whimp that I don't want to be in a crowd that huge? I have no idea how I would get in and out of the city.
