nice guy?
Oh, I am in total agreement with Dawn Olsen on why women date jerks!
Of course, there are extremes to everything, but to blame the other means codependence. So, it would appear that only people (women and men) that seek to validate themselves through an abusive relationship would actually look for jerks.
That women find many jerks through their lifetime, and that many of them get abused, I agree: What easier for the abusive jerk than to prey upon the person living with them! But that is not about nice guys finishing last.
If a guy is extremely sensitive, listens too well, and understands her moods and clothes, he will be automatically termed gay! And that is even worse that “I love you as a friend” polite excuse, no, this is the enthusiastic hug, the sloppy kiss on the cheek, the flirty conversation, and the very ecstatic “You are my best friend!” No way out, and no dessert for you tonight either.
I think that nice guys do get nice girls. They just have to be obnoxious and monothematic enough so as to be an annoyance, and then they would be accepted as males of the species. And of course, short attention span: If the guy focus too long on a woman, all he gets is a restraining order.
However, I do not like nice girls. I like the bad girls. Way much more interesting. The former gives you cookies she herself baked, while the latter eats the crumbs from your chest.
